Zusammen mit dem Kollektiv "La Recolectiva" zeigen wir den Film "Roots of Resistance" - "Wurzeln des Widerstands" (Palästina/Barcelona 2017, 60 Min., arab./engl. + engl. UT, R.: Sara M./La Recolectiva)

Seit tausenden von Jahren garantiert der Anbau von Oliven das Leben in Palästina. Seit der Gründung des Staates Israel im Gebiet des historischen Palästina 1948 ist die palästinensische Bevölkerung, die sich seit Generationen um die Oliven kümmert, mit der Zerstörung ihrer Bäume und damit eines wichtigen Teils ihrer Kultur und ihres Lebensunterhalts konfrontiert. Palästinenser*innen leisten täglich Widerstand gegen diesen Kolonialismus. "Roots of Resistance" von La Recolectiva dokumentiert die Geschichte und den Widerstand aus Sicht palästinensischer Familien und Aktivist*innen.

La Recolectiva ist eine autonome Gruppe in Katalonien, die Kampagnen und Aktivitäten der Solidarität und des Widerstand für Palästina organisiert. Ihr Hauptziel ist es, jedes Jahr Brigaden nach Palästina zu bringen, die palästinensische Familien während der Ernte unterstützen.

• Desweiteren gibt uns die Gruppe "Palestina spricht" ein update zur aktuellen Situation in Gaza/Palästina.

Together with the collective "La Recolectiva" we show the movie
"Roots of Resistance"
Olives have been the guarantors of life in Palestine for thousands of years. Since the state of Israel was created in the territory of historical Palestine in 1948, the Palestinian inhabitants, who have been taking care of the olives for generations, are faced with the destruction of their trees and their livelihoods and culture connected to it. Palestinians resist this colonialism on a daily basis. With this documentary, La Recolectiva proposes a reading of history and popular struggles, through the testimonies of Palestinian families and activists.

La Recolectiva is an autonomous group of activists based in Catalonia that organizes activities and campaigns of solidarity and resistance with Palestine. Their main goal is to bring brigades every year to Palestine to support Palestinian families during the olive harvest.
