Reclaiming our past, present & future

In this workshop environmental justice is told from an ancestral lense of resistance. Acknowledging the centuries old anti-colonial struggles, hearing the silenced movements and communities at the forefront of environmental/climate crisis and looking at the ignored forecasts for the next decades. We want to dismantle the dualistic, colonial, patriarchal knowledge system, which is still in operation today, shaping our life experiences and the environment we are part of. This unavoidably leads to questioning the binaries between human & nature, men & women, Black & white. Reclaiming environmental, gender and racial justices is not a one time event, let's inspire and remind each other of what we already know. And deepen our understanding of our own entanglements, finding practical solution approaches together.

"...Seed to tree, tree to forest; Rain to river, river to sea; Grubs to bees, bees to swarm. From one, many; from many, one; Forever uniting, growing, dissolving— forever Changing...." Octavia Butler
