Einladung zum offenen Plenum zum geplanten Protest Camp

Die Initiative Abschiebezentrum BER Verhindern plant im nächsten Sommer vom 1.-6. Juni 2023 ein "Stop Deportation! Protest Camp". Das Camp soll ein Ort sein, an dem bestehende Gruppen, Aktivist*innen und Interessierte zusammenkommen, um eine breite Bewegung gegen den Bau des Abschiebgefängnisses am Schönefelder Flughafen und gegen die rassistische Abschiebungspolitik aufzubauen. Wir planen ein buntes Programm mit Workshops, Debatten und Vernetzungsformaten und möchten dadurch Wissen und Strategien miteinander teilen. Das Camp soll die Bedürfnisse und Interessen vieler verschiedener Menschen widerspiegeln, vor allem auch derer, die selbst vom rassistischen europäischen Grenzregime betroffen sind und die gegen Abschiebungen kämpfen oder kämpfen wollen.

Wenn ihr Lust habt, euch an der Organisation des Camps zu beteiligen, dann kommt zu unserem nächsten offenen Plenum am 25. Oktober, 18:30 in New Yorck Bethanien! Wir werden das Projekt kurz vorstellen, gemeinsam brainstormen und euch einladen, eure Ideen, Skills, Erfahrungen und Kreativität in das Projekt miteinzubringen - es ist keinerlei Camp- oder Orga Erfahrung erwartet oder benötigt!

Open planning and onboarding meeting

The Initiative Stop Deportation Centre BER is organizing a "Stop Deportation Protest Camp" next summer from June 1-6 2023. The camp will be a place for existing groups, activists and interested people to network, share knowledge and strategies and build a broader movement against the construction of the deportation prison at Schönefeld airport and against Germany's racist deportation policies. We are planning a varied programme including workshops, discussions and opportunities for networking. The camp should reflect the needs and interests of a diverse range of people, especially those who are themselves affected by Europe's racist border regime and who are fighting or who want to fight deportations.

If you want to participate in the organisation of the camp, we invite you to join our next open plenum on the 25th of October at 6:30pm in New Yorck Bethanien! We will briefly introduce the project, brainstorm collectively and invite you to bring in your own ideas, skills, experiences and creativity into the planning process. You don't need to have any previuos experience in organising or protest camps, all are welcome!
