A series of movie projections for Palestine, to support collectives in Berlin (Gaza Freestyle, Palestine Speaks, Nakba75) and a comrade who was arrested in Toulouse while doing pro-palestine graffiti.
This will be a solinight for Palästina Spricht, a political, democratic and anti-racist movement that brings together Palestinian and non-Palestinian individuals, activists and various human rights groups in Germany. Together they stand up for the Palestinians and their rights to freedom, equality and justice.
The Iron Wall (2006) by Mohammed Alatar
After 1967 and the occupation of the West Bank and Gaza, the settlement project was revived to create "facts on the ground" and make the creation of a Palestinian state there impossible. There are now over 200 settlements and outposts throughout the West Bank blocking the emergence of a contiguous Palestinian territory. The Iron Wall exposes this phenomenon, following the timeline, size, and
population of the settlements, and their impact on the peace process.
We want to remind you that this is a safer space for everybody. We strongly suggest you to come early to make sure you'll have a seat for the screening (you're free to join us also later for the Küfa).
