The 269 Libération Animale collective, born in 2015, advocates for a radical antispeciesism, centered on direct actions against structures of domination and an approach aiming at making the animal struggle a truly political and leftist fight, born out of the apparent failure of depoliticised vegan campaigning, centered on the search for "individual purity".
