Am Samstag, den 30. März 2024, wurde der Gambier Lamin Touray in Nienburg von Polizeibeamtinnen
getötet. Als Reaktion auf einen medizinischen Notruf versammelten sich 14 Polizist:innen vor seiner
Wohnung, ließen einen Polizeihund auf ihn los und gaben insgesamt acht Schüsse auf Lamin ab, von
denen zwei tödlich waren.
Die Polizei hat ein falsches rassistisches Narrativ geschaffen, um den Mord an Lamin zu rechtfertigen,
und seine Freundin bestreitet ausdrücklich die Darstellung der Ereignisse durch die Nienburger Polizei.
• Warum haben die 14 (!) eingesetzten Polizeibeamtinnen den Druck auf Lamin erhöht und die
Situation weiter eskaliert, anstatt sich zunächst zurückzuziehen und die Situation - mit Hilfe von
psychologischen Fachkräften - zu deeskalieren?
• Warum haben die Polizist:innen den Polizeihund auf Lamin losgelassen?
• Warum gingen die Polizistinnen davon aus, dass nach den ersten beiden Schüssen, die Lamin
trafen, insgesamt sechs weitere Schüsse nötig waren, um die von ihm angeblich ausgehende
Gefahr abzuwehren?

On Saturday, March 30, 2024 a Gambian man Lamin Touray was killed by police officers in Nienburg.
In response to a medical emergency call, 14 police officers gathered in front of his apartment,
unleashed a police dog at him and fired a total of eight shots at Lamin - two of which were fatal.
The police created a false racist narrative to justify their murder of Lamin, and his girlfriend
specifically deny the Nienburg police's portrayal of events.
• Why did the 14 (.) deployed police officers increase the pressure on Lamin and further
escalate the situation instead of first withdrawing and de-escalating the situation - with the
help of psychological specialists?
• Why did the officers unleash the police dog on Lamin?
• Why did the police officers assume that after the first two shots that hit Lamin, a total of six
more shots were needed to ward off the danger he supposedly posed?
