Douglas Munrow (Caleb Landry Jones) has just been arrested in a car wearing a dress with a blonde wig and bright white facial makeup and accused of a series of murders and a series of burglaries. Doug tells psychiatrist Evelyn (Jojo T. Gibbs) about his life. Now confined to a wheelchair, he has had to endure many setbacks and tragedies in his life. As a child, he was abused by his violent father and left alone with dogs to protect him. Since then, his love for dogs has been greater than that for people.
