!!! Der Bollerwagen brennt - again !!! Due to the resounding success of last year, the Institut für temporäre Notwendigkeiten (IFTN) is excited to invite you again on the 09.05.24 to Strandbad Plötzensee for a second edition of the beach day “H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶ LOL”, this year in support of Tuntenhaus.

With “H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶ LOL”, IFTN wants to critcize the tradition of “H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶”. With its customs, this holiday reinforces patriarchal attitudes and toxic masculinity, often accompanied by heavy drinking and unruly behavior. IFTN wants to disrupt the traditional concept of “H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶”, and create an alternative space on this day for people who do not want to conform to its patriarchal aesthetique. Queer spaces in Berlin are constantly endangered by investors and gentrification, so therefore this beach day will financially support Tuntenhaus, which is at risk of shutting down after the real estate has been sold. There is a additional donation ticket if you want to donate more - including a free drink!

IFTN will bring to you a day full of house, disco and techno, with a lineup that exclusively focuses on FLINTA* and/or LGBTQ+ performers. FLINTA* and LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face unfair challenges in the event and music business, often due to the hierarchical and patriarchal attitudes ingrained in the industry, and “H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶” is the best day to criticize this.

!!! Der Bollerwagen brennt - again !!! Nach dem großen Erfolg im letzten Jahr lädt das Institut für temporäre Notwendigkeiten wieder zu “H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶ LOL” ins Strandbad Plötzensee ein. “H̶e̶r̶r̶e̶n̶t̶a̶g̶ ” ist ein Feiertag voll toxischer Männlichkeit und das IFTN will hier einen queeren Gegenpol zur Tradition schaffen. Es wird einen Strandtag voller Disco, House und Techno-Musik geben, präsentiert ausschließlich von FLINTA* und/oder LGBTQ+ Künstlern. Wie gewohnt gibt es auch den See zum Schwimmen und die Strandbad-Gastro. Dieser Strandtag unterstützt finanziell die "Tuntenhaus bleibt!"-Kampagne, da das Tuntenhaus derzeit nach einem Besitzerwechsel von der Schließung bedroht ist.
