Calling all whores and comrades! On June 2nd we celebrate the historic resistance of sex workers and continue their fight for liberation. On June 2 in 1975, French sex workers occupied a church at St. Nizier to resist against violence, state control, police repression and patriarchy. We continue in this history of resistance and fighting for our rights!

As whores, our struggles have always been intersectional. Our fights for labor rights, better laws and working conditions are intertwined with struggles against borders, prisons and racist state violence that disproportionately affect the most marginalized amongst us. None of us are free until we are all free! 

This year, in the wake of ongoing genocide in Palestine, ethnic cleansing in Sudan, and violent neocolonialism and resource extraction in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, we as the Sex Worker Action Group Berlin demand rights for all, decrim for all, decolonisation, intersectional solidarity, digital rights, and an end to police surveillance & violence! 

Bring your friends, your voices, and your marching shoes, red umbrellas and keffiyeh and join with us in solidarity and whore power!

Aufruf an alle Huren und Genossinnen! Am 2. Juni feiern wir den historischen Widerstand der Sexarbeiterinnen und setzen ihren Kampf für die Befreiung fort. Am 2. Juni 1975 besetzten französische Sexarbeiterinnen eine Kirche in St. Nizier, um sich gegen Gewalt, staatliche Kontrolle, polizeiliche Repression und das Patriarchat zu wehren. Wir setzen diese Geschichte des Widerstands und des Kampfes für unsere Rechte fort!

Als Huren waren unsere Kämpfe schon immer interdisziplinär. Unsere Kämpfe für Arbeitsrechte, bessere Gesetze und Arbeitsbedingungen sind verflochten mit Kämpfen gegen Grenzen, Gefängnisse und rassistische staatliche Gewalt, die unverhältnismäßig stark die am meisten Marginalisierten unter uns treffen. Keiner von uns ist frei, solange wir nicht alle frei sind!

In diesem Jahr fordern wir als Sex Worker Action Group Berlin angesichts des anhaltenden Völkermords in Palästina, der ethnischen Säuberung im Sudan und des gewalttätigen Neokolonialismus und der Ressourcengewinnung in der Demokratischen Republik Kongo Rechte für alle, Entkriminalisierung für alle, Entkolonialisierung, intersektionale Solidarität, digitale Rechte und ein Ende der polizeilichen Überwachung und Gewalt!

Bringt eure Freunde, eure Stimmen und eure Marschschuhe, roten Regenschirme und Keffiyeh mit und schließt euch uns an in Solidarität und Hurenpower!
