We come together at OPlatz in March 2025 to fight for refuge
You can find our daily program on Instagram (@oplatzunited). In addition to our daily program, you can meet us for tea everyday from 3 p.m.
Bring your tents and sleeping bags, and if you don't have these, there will be tents and sleeping bags on the camp so you can come and sleep with us in solidarity.
An awareness and a security team will be present troughout all the month on the camp.

We are a selforganised group of different groups and individuals who are
coming together in the month of March to fight for refugee rights and
climate justice. We choose Oranienplatz as our place of resistance, due
to its history, where the refugee rights movement has been fighting
since 2012. From 2012-2014 people from all over the world have joined
the struggle at Oranienplatz to fight for the freedom of movement, to
abolish all Lagers, abolish the Residenzpflicht, to stop all
deportations and for the right to work and study.
By occupying Oplatz again we want to make the struggle visible. We see
today a huge increase in the regulations for deportation. We see how the
big political parties like CDU, SPD, Grüne, FDP, BSW are speaking out
for fascist ideas of mass deportation, following the course of right
extremist party AfD. We see how the media is increasingly dehumanizing
people of color and making the narrative of the dangerous migrant
people, while ignoring most of the attacks on migrant people and
femicides happening almost daily. At the same time multiple other crisis
humanity is facing are barely mentioned. Climate crisis is unfolding and
the gap between the poor and the rich is growing fast, increasing also
poverty all over Germany. While the climate crisis is still not
recognized as a reason to seek asylum, the buildup of Fortress Europe is
becoming clearer by the day. We speak up against colonization, against
apartheid, against the racist system. They are trying to divide us,
making us weak but we will stand together and fight.
Our Demands:
1. The closure of all camps in Germany. We fight for better housing
solutions and the protection of human rights!
2. An immediate stop to deportations!
3. The abolition of the residency requirement!
4. The abolition of the payment card!
5. No profit on the backs of refugees!
6. Recognizing the climate crisis as a reason for asylum
We hereby want to invite you to join our starting rally on the first of
March at 3pm at Oranienplatz and to our press conference on the 3rd of
March at 12pm.
