VoxKü + Infoevent : Hang on to each other ~ anti-repression, the stop cop city struggle, and other reflections from turtle island

Reflections on the resistance to the construction of Cop City, a militarized police training facility in the Weelaunee forest in so called Atlanta, Georgia and the ongoing struggle to maintain resistance while supporting eachother through state repression. The focus of the talk is meant to engage a broader disscussion on the changes of repressive environments, collective legal strategies, and building up solidarity, connection and support for the 61 defendants facing trial for charges of violating the Georgia State RICO (Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations) act.

A VoxKü with vegan food will start at 8pm. The infoevent will start at 8:30pm. It will be in english, but we can try to arrange whisper translation.

Kadterschmiede is partially smoke-free. There is a small set of stairs before the entrance to the space. The toilet is moderately accessible.
