Community Day - Right to the City

We are more than excited to invite all of you to our monthly Community Day! This is a series of social gatherings that we are hosting at our headquarters in Neukölln every last Saturday of the month, from April to September 2025! If you are a non-German-speaking tenant who feels comfortable speaking a little English and: ° you would like to know more about what Deutsche Wohnen & Co enteignen* (DWE) is doing ° you are having problems with your landlord and need support ° you are facing problems with Anmeldung and need to know how to navigate it ° you would like to get creative in an art workshop ° you just arrived in Berlin and are looking for community... ...then Community Day is perfect for you! If one or many of these speak to you, mark your calendar! <3 We will have these activities throughout the day: Welcome Session: This is for people who are interested in finding out more about DWE and R2C. It’s an opportunity for people to find out how they can contribute to the campaign and get involved in an English speaking environment. RSVP is highly recommended - please indicate interest by e-mailing us at right2thecity@dwenteignen.de Tenant Support Forum: An informal gathering where people can receive support. Get all your questions about dealing with landlords and your rights as a tenant answered here. Fair Mieten Fair Wohnen Workshop: Find out about discrimination and informal practices in the housing market in Berlin and how to combat them as a tenant. Banner Making Workshop: Make signs to use in rallies and protests or just to hang up at home.
