Der Film wollte ursprünglich den Alltag, die Hoffnungen und Träume von fünf Bewohner*innen Khartoums nach Revolution und Konterrevolution vorstellen. Doch dann bekriegen sich die einstigen Verbündeten der Militärregierung, die Streitkräfte (SAF) und die Milizen der Rapid Support Forces (RSF). Khartoum wird weitgehend zerstört. 10 Millionen Menschen müssen fliehen, darunter auch die Straßenjungen Lokain und Wilson, die Teeverkäuferin und alleinerziehende Mutter Khadmallah, der Widerstandskämpfer Jawad und der Beamte Majdi. Im Exil in Nairobi treffen sie sich wieder und verarbeiten mit Hilfe von Green-Screen und Animationen ihre Erlebnisse.
Im Anschluss: Austausch in englischer Sprache mit Sudan Uprising.

The film originally set out to portray the everyday lives, hopes and dreams of five residents of Khartoum after the revolution and counter-revolution. But then the former allies of the military government, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) militias, went to war with each other. Khartoum was largely destroyed. Ten million people are forced to flee, including the street boys Lokain and Wilson, the tea seller and single mother Khadmallah, the resistance fighter Jawad and the civil servant Majdi. In exile in Nairobi, they meet again and process their experiences with the help of green screen and animations. 
Followed by exchange in English with Sudan Uprising.
