This event is to gather, organize, and raise funds for the November 25 demonstration. Our struggle connects with the legacy of the Mirabal Sisters, who fought the US-backed Trujillo dictatorship and refused to separate the fight against patriarchy from the fight against imperialism and state violence.

We will screen „Codename: Butterflies“ to honor all comrades who continue resisting from prisons, exile, and occupied territories. The same systems that targeted the Mirabal Sisters, including imperialism, Zionism, capitalism, patriarchy, and the prison industrial complex, remain global tools of repression. And still, our movements do not surrender.
