Shot in stark black-and-white and unfolding over a single day, La Haine follows three young men — Vinz, Saïd, and Hubert — navigating the tension, boredom, rage, and police hostility in the Paris banlieues.
A film about inequality, humiliation, pride, friendship, and the slow burn of a society on the edge, La Haine remains as painfully relevant today as it was 30 years ago.
