🪖 Across Europe, militarisation has once more become the ruling class’s central method of racial capitalist control.

Germany contributes 147+ million Euro annually to militarizing the EU border guard FRONTEX, while building new arms factories in over-criminalised migrant neighborhoods like Berlin Wedding. The German government has renewed weapons contracts in aid of Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians and is debating the introduction of compulsory military service for young adults.

We are at a critical juncture where profits for weapons and surveillance companies are sky high while devastating the earth and people’s lives.

➡️How does the military-industrial complex factor into all of our struggles? 
➡️What do domestic policing practices in Germany have to do with the brutal violences against migrants at the EU’s external borders? 
➡️And most importantly, how can we build lasting power/ resistance against border, surveillance, and arms profiteers?

This panel discussion will feature inputs to expose heightening militarisation as the common enemy of our times and to offer an opportunity to collectively connect, reflect, and strategize.
