Wir sind die Berliner Lokalgruppe der zivilen Seenotrettungsorganisation "Sea-Eye e.V.". Unsere Schiffe retten Menschen auf der Flucht auf dem zentralen Mittelmeer vor dem Ertrinken. Die Einsätze sichern nicht nur das Überleben von Schutzsuchenden. Sie sind für uns ein deutlicher solidarischer Akt, um der rassistischen und menschenverachtenden Asylpolitik Deutschlands und Europas etwas entgegenzusetzen. Mit öffentlichen Veranstaltungen machen wir auf die Situation von Flüchtenden an den europäischen Grenzen aufmerksam und sammeln Spenden, um unsere Schiffe am Laufen zu halten.

We are the Berlin local group of the civilian sea rescue organization "Sea-Eye e.V." Our ships rescue refugees in the central Mediterranean from drowning. This action does not only ensure the survival of people on the move. It is also a clear act of solidarity for us and a way to fight the racist and inhumane asylum policies of Germany and Europe. Through public events, we raise awareness for the situation of refugees at the European borders and collect donations to keep our ships running.
