Der Velvet Rebels Munch trifft sich wieder! [Achtung: Location-Change]
Die ersten Monate mit euch waren wunderbar – deshalb wollen wir auch 2026 wieder zusammenkommen: zum Reden, Lachen, Denken, Flirten (respektvoll versteht sich), Träumen, Diskutieren und Fachsimpeln – vom besten DIY-Flogger bis zur Frage, wie Kink und Aktivismus zusammengehen. Es darf absurd werden, es darf tiefsinnig werden, Hauptsache ehrlich und herzlich.
Beim Velvet Rebels Munch gibt es keinen Leistungsdruck und keinen Erklärungszwang. Wir sind kein Ort für öffentliches Spielen, aber ein Raum für Verbindung, Austausch und leise wie laute Freude. Unser Erkennungszeichen ist ein kleines Stofftier auf dem Tisch – oder ihr fragt einfach am Tresen nach dem „kinky Stammi“.
Der Munch möchte ein möglichst sicherer Raum für marginalisierte Gruppen sein. Er freut sich stets über Anmerkungen oder Verbesserungsvorschläge. Sprecht uns gerne vor Ort an. Eine gute Fehlerkultur gehört zum Munch und seinen Gästen dazu.
Treffpunkt: das Cocoon – ein süßes, queeres, linkes Café & Bar. Vor der Tür kann eingekuschelt in warme Decken geraucht werden. Bitte beachtet: Vor dem Eingang gibt es eine Stufe, und Toiletten sowie der untere Raum sind nur über eine Treppe erreichbar.
Das Cocoon hat bis 24 Uhr geöffnet – ihr könnt also auch nach dem offiziellen Teil noch weiterplaudern, neue Menschen kennenlernen und den Abend ausklingen lassen, selbst wenn wir Orga-Menschen schon auf dem Heimweg sind. Wir planen, bis etwa 22 Uhr vor Ort zu sein.

PS: Wir haben den letzten Donnerstag ausgelassen, damit sich alle gut von Silvester erholen können – jetzt starten wir voller Vorfreude ins neue Jahr und sind gespannt, wie sich der Munch weiterentwickelt. Unsere alte Location, die wundervolle Loge, verlassen wir mit ganz viel Liebe im Herzen und empfehlen sie euch uneingeschränkt für einen geselligen Abend weiter. Diesmal wollen wir ausprobieren, ob ein etwas ruhigerer Ort mit weniger Rauch besser zur Atmosphäre unseres Stammtischs passt. Wir probieren uns noch aus – und freuen uns über alle, die mit uns gemeinsam diesen Versuch wagen.
The Velvet Rebels Munch Meets again! [Attention: Location Change]
The first few months with all of you were wonderful – so we want to come together again in 2026: to talk, laugh, think, flirt (respectfully, of course), dream, discuss, and geek out – about everything from the best DIY flogger to the question of how kink and activism connect. Things can get absurd or deep – as long as they’re honest and heartfelt.
At the Velvet Rebels Munch, there’s no pressure to perform and no need to explain yourself. We are not a place for public play, but we are a space for connection, exchange, and both quiet and loud joy. Our sign is a small stuffed animal on the table – or you can simply ask at the bar for the “kinky meetup.”
The Munch strives to be as safe a space as possible for marginalized groups. We always welcome comments or suggestions for improvement—feel free to talk to us. A healthy culture of learning from mistakes is part of what makes the Munch — and its guests — who they are.
Meeting point: Cocoon – a lovely queer, leftist café and bar. You can smoke outside, snuggled up in warm blankets. Please note: there’s a step at the entrance, and the toilets as well as the downstairs area are only accessible via stairs.
The Cocoon is open until midnight – so you can keep chatting, meet new people, and wind down the evening even after the official part has ended, though we organizers will head off around 10 p.m.

P.S. We skipped the last Thursday so everyone could recover from New Year’s, but now we’re kicking off the year full of excitement and curiosity for how the Munch will grow. We’re leaving our former location, the wonderful Loge, with much love in our hearts and can wholeheartedly recommend it for a casual pub night out. This time, we’re trying out a quieter spot with less smoke to see if it fits our gathering’s vibe better. We’re still finding our way – and we’re excited to have you join us on the journey.
