💬 Collectives do not only disintegrate due to external repression or lack of resources. They fracture from within: through unrecognized power disputes, through traumas reproduced as organizational methods, through personal quarrels that paralyze political action.
This workshop is an excerpt from the project "Militant's Manual," developed by teachers of humanist disciplines in Santiago, Chile, who have dedicated their lives to political work in South American contexts. Drawing from concrete grassroots experience, they offer conflict resolution tools that help build coherence between the political subject, the collective, and their social territory.
Anatomy of the We is a space for militant analysis: we identify how our personal contradictions become political contradictions. Through dynamics and reflections, we map the ways in which ego, unrecognized authoritarianism, and interpersonal conflicts sabotage organization. Not from a moral standpoint, but from the strategic necessity of building collectives capable of sustaining long-term transformation processes.
We are not seeking to provide therapy or create contemplative spaces. We seek to strengthen militancy through organized self-critique and the construction of political relationships that do not reproduce the logics of domination we fight against.
