Solidarity kitchen for Gaza

Please join us at K19, Kreutzigerstr 19, on the 27th of February for a solidarity Küfa in aid of our friend Mahdi and his family of five. 

Mahdi and his wife Alaa, along with their three children, live in northern Gaza and have been forced to endure the past 28 months of Israel's genocide. We are raising money to support them in providing essential repairs to their home along with other basic needs. With the money we raise, we also hope to support the family's evacuation plans. In particular, we are hoping to raise money to pay off a loan for Alaa's university degree, so that she can obtain her official qualifications and use them to apply for university scholarship opportunities in Europe and elsewhere.  

We will be providing vegan, gluten-free, food on a donation basis, along with drinks served by the event space. 

Depending on availability, we will try to hold a live call with Mahdi, who can share their situation in Gaza, and a call with Mohammed Abo Kmeil, who will share his story as a person with a disability in Gaza.
