Practicing feminist imagination and resistance: collective actions

In the media, state instutions and the whole pinkwashing capitalist machines, this week will be all about women; mothers, daughters, wives, caretakers, lovers. 

A world on fire "celebrating" our existence while killing us, conditioning us to the praise of their conformed and oppressed gender roles while detaching us from our pain and the cruel repression of all our sisters and brothers fighting for their lives in conditions of genocide, war and state violence in Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Sudan, Congo Afghanistan, Venezuela, the US. 

Through transfeminist struggles, we imagine, reshape and resist against the hypnotism of patriarchal capitalistic societies. To the patriarchal and colonial systems that continue to rely on the competition amongst and oppression of women, trans and non-binary people, workers, migrants, and refugees we answer with collective actions that envision a world without exploitation. To the cages that surround our bodies, our expression, our sexuality, we answer with liberating movement that binds us. To the horrors of genocide, war, destruction and mayhem that colonialism, imperialism and oppressive regimes thrive on, we answer this collectively creating images of liberation and resistance. 

Join us on the 7th of March in New Yorck Bethanien at 16:30pm to experiment and create our shared version of reality through dancing, singing, collage- and banner-making.
